Pastor Anthony Bell, Sr.

With great pleasure, I endorse Mrs. Regina English for State Representative House District 17. As a resident of Colorado Springs, I have known Mrs. English for the past ten years as a leader in our city. Regina is engaged in her community in several capacities. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of the Colorado Black Caucus for School Board Directors, Harrison School District Two Board of Directors (Treasurer). Colorado Association of School Boards Legislative Resolution Committee member, and RISE (Resilient, Inspired, Strong, and Engaged) Coalition Resident Leader to name a few commitments she has intentionally made to the community.

Regina sits on various boards throughout the state of Colorado. She’s engaged in the community championing education, fighting for equity to be present through policy and quality education, equipping all students with the tools necessary for a fair and successful education. She is an activist for social justice and a strong, consistent voice for the community and will champion solutions for important issues that matter most to her constituents. I am confident that Regina will create responsible legislation and ensure the state budget is being allocated properly to provide access and opportunity for our community. She feels that everyone deserves a better quality of life and has positioned herself to impact change in a meaningful way for the greater good. Regina’s advocacy and community engagement have allowed her to connect with various communities while carrying a unifying message across the state of Colorado.

Mrs. English is a dedicated civic leader. Regina’s experiences reflect her commitment to the people of Colorado Springs and her ability to listen and be received by citizens across the civic spectrum as a means to value and enhance the lives of those most often marginalized and forgotten. Regina cares about what is systemically fair and will fight for the people of HDi7 to have a better quality of life and not be left behind. Coloradans must have strong, diverse, and inclusive voices at every level of civic engagement that expands beyond demographic representation but includes regional diversity and the diversity of thought. We must continue the momentum in our district, and Regina is the woman for the job. I have watched her grow over the years and get effective results coupled with long-term solutions, and for this reason, I strongly support Mrs. Regina English to be our next State Representative for House District 17.
